The Human Jukebox Music Quiz is currently the ONLY EXCLUSIVELY MUSIC quiz in
the New Forest and has been established since 1999. Each quiz is tailored to the
age and musical knowledge of its punters. The format remains the same each week
so entrants become familiar with the questions, but the music changes for each quiz. The sixteen rounds include questions on years, albums, singles, chart positions, band members, cover versions and many other varied subjects. During the year as well as mixed music quizzes, there are theme nights based on a genre of music, a decade, an event happening in the news at that time or a calendar date such as Christmas, Halloween & just recently, the Olympics.
The quiz costs £1 per person to enter with a maximum of eight per team. Prizes vary from venue to venue, but all money collected goes to the winning teams. There is also a nightly rollover question which in the past has climbed to well over £100! And if you are a big fan of music and don't want to enter the quiz, why not come along and choose a song or two from the 20,000 tracks available.
